(Photo by Chaiyot Pupattanapong)PATTAYA - A young woman from China lost her 30,000-baht necklace to a snatcher on a motorcycle on Soi 6 Road in Pattaya Klang area of Bang Lamung district in Chon Buri late on Monday night. The 19-year-old student, whose name was not released, told Pattaya police that a young man on a black motorcycle overtook her while she was walking back to her room about 10pm. He made a U-turn, snatched her necklace and sped away toward Pattaya Sai 3 Road. Police said they would try to identify the suspect through surveillance camera footage and arrest him, and increase patrols to deter further thefts.
